How to enable or delete cookies from different browsers

Managing cookies from different browsers

In Google Chrome you can delete all cookies or cookies registered by a specific site.

Delete all cookies:
Important: If you delete cookies, you may be disconnected from sites that remember you and your saved preferences may be deleted. This applies whenever a cookie is deleted.

  1. On the computer, select Chrome
  2. At the top right, select More and then Settings
  3. Select Privacy and Security and then Third Party Cookies.
  4. Select View all site data and permissions, then Delete all data
  5. To confirm, select Delete

Delete cookies saved by a specific site:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome
  2. At the top right, select More and then Settings
  3. Select Privacy and Security and then Third Party Cookies.
  4. Select View all site data and permissions
  5. In the upper right-hand corner, look for the name of the website
  6. To the right of the site, select Remove
  7. To confirm, select Delete

To delete browsing information stored on your device, such as saved passwords or cookies, proceed as follows:

  1. In Microsoft Edge, select Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search and services
  2. Under Delete browsing data select Choose what to delete
  3. Under Time Interval choose a time interval.
  4. Select the check box next to each type of data you wish to delete, then select Delete Now
  5. If you wish, you can select Choose what to delete each time you close the browser and choose which types of data should be deleted

In Mozilla Firefox, you can delete all cookies or only those recorded by a site.

Delete all cookies:

  1. Click the menu button and select Settings
  2. Select the Privacy and Security panel and go to the Cookies and Site Data section.
  3. Click the Manage Data button. The Manage Cookies and Site Data dialog box will appear.
  4. In the Search Websites field, type the name of the site whose cookies you wish to remove. Items that match your search will be displayed
    1. To remove all cookies and website storage data, click Remove All shown
    2. To remove selected items, select an item and click Remove Selected
  5. Click Save Changes
  6. In the confirmation dialog box Removing cookies and site data that opens, click OK
  7. Close the about:preferences page

Delete saved cookies from a specific site:
To delete cookies and site data for a website you are currently visiting:

  1. Click the padlock to the left of the address bar
  2. Click Delete cookies and site data

You can view all Web sites that have stored cookies and Web site data on your Mac, and you can remove some or all of them.

  1. Go to the Safari app on your Mac
  2. Choose Safari > Settings, then click Privacy
  3. Click Manage Website Data.
  4. Select one or more Web sites, then click Remove or Remove All

Removing data could reduce tracking, but it could also cause you to leave websites or change website behavior.

Note: Removing cookies and Web site data in Safari may change or remove them in other apps.
